Construction
ARM construction ministry teams participate in construction in areas where the need for hope can be answered with action. Past construction projects have included building a small house in Jamaica, helping with construction of a medical clinic and orphanage in Haiti, building over 200 desks for rural Haitian schools, and helping with hurricane relief in Mississippi. ARM's active construction ministry will continue in these areas and others as the Lord directs
~Donate funds~
Each building project requires raising funds for supplies. Projects cost approximately $5000. Every dollar, 100%, donated for a construction project will go toward construction supplies.
~Volunteer~
Volunteers do not need to have construction experience, but need to have a servant heart to work where and in whatever project is planned/needed at the time of the trip.
Past project experiences have included:
Sanding Laying block
Nailing Mixing mortar
Varnishing Mixing cement
Painting Framing
Sawing Plumbing
Construction volunteers are required to be in good health with limited physical restrictions related to lifting, bending, reaching and other physical-labor related tasks.
ARM serves in cooperation with established international ministries (such as Servants in Fellowship and TEAMS for Medical Missions) to send short-term mission teams to areas of need internationally. With missionaries in the field, projects are on-going, contacts are trustworthy and team safety is established.
